The original and the new translated texts are not similar; yet the second is the by-product of the first. The translator manipulates the first so that he gives birth to the second. But does the second contain the same entrails of the first? Does it contain the same voice as the original? Or just, behind any new text, there is intentionality of the translator! Can Hermeneutics be the adequate tool, which enables the translator/interpreter to find the authentic meaning of the original?

In this study, we analyzed our corpus according to the Jean-Paul Vinay and Jean Darbelnet classification theory, and we restricted it to the direct translation methods (borrowing and literal translation), given the shortcut nature to the study presented here. Accordingly, we tried to collect these techniques, providing the original text and its translation as presented without any change, with the technique used by the translator in each example and giving criticism, even briefly, on the translator choice.

Dissimilar to the early theories of instruction, which downplayed the role of the learner, recent researches in EFL have started to approach language learning and understanding from inside the learner, giving cardinal importance to such affective factors, like personality, anxiety, self-esteem, motivation, and attitude. This paper attempts to evince some affective variables that greatly effect students‘ level of achievement in the writing skill, which is considered as a very important skill in language learning.

An Algerian group on facebook allowed us to analyze some linguistic practices to show the gap which exists at present between the classic spelling and another new and different.

This research aims to clarify the importance of the finality of translating the Holly Koran in general and its stories. To do so, we will start by defining the finality, the emergence of this science, and the most important pioneers. To be more specific, I will be tackling the purposes of the Quranic stories. At the end, I will work on some examples from the translation of Abdullah Yusuf Ali of the Holy Quran which reveal the loss of the finality and the wisdom of the verse; I where as some examples still maintain the finality meant by the story.

Hence, the present study attempts to discover the relationship between the translation of pharmaceutical leaflets and the translation market in Algeria and the Arab World. We moved, in the last phase of the analysis, to the discourse analysis. For this purpose, we tried for each example to provide the historical and political and social context the text was stated inadvertent disclosure of colonial ideology in the originally language and see whether the translator has successfully transferred this colonial ideology through the translation strategy he chosen in this process. We have concluded that the translator, who provided the translation of such texts, do not require only bilingual knowledge, but requires also a skill and ability to build the original meaning of the text within the social, cultural, political and even psychological context where he was raised. In the translation process the translator does not transfer words or sentences in isolation, but rather discourses.

It has been known that the translation of emotive expressions is one of the most challenging areas to deal with because of the particular importance they carry either in themselves or in the context they are entrenched in. In fact, the Arabic language is famous for its eloquence, expressiveness, clarity, richness, and emotiveness. This study sheds light on the way translators should look at emotive expressions in order to find the main source of emotiveness. It focuses on the strategies used in translating emotive expressions, especially those related to the meaning and musicality of poetry, in order to reach a good product in the target language.

The aim of this study is to investigate the appropriateness of the different translation procedures used in rendering the various semantic as well as stylistic meanings of "exception "words and style in the Holy Quran. In the present paper, it is associated to another science, which is translation. The study will be then approached from a sociolinguistic point of view in talking about translation recommendations. Respectively, a description of the sociolinguistic situation in Algeria has been explored and described with a former intention of discussing the languages proposed for a translation purpose in Algerian higher education. The study tries to integrate, within its propositions, the colloquial codes used among Algerians for communication in daily speech. As already noticed in the designed programmes of translation, the languages serving translation are three: Standard Arabic, French, and English. Only to some extent do all of them achieve some functions in the society. As for Standard Arabic, the function is fundamentally transmitted through writings, while the spoken form remains a medium of interaction in some formal situations. However, French has been maintained for historical reasons, nowadays extended to scientific purposes. The third language is English: it is taught at schools and universities to serve contemporary needs in science and technology.

By redefining the exilic paradigm as a creative opportunity for the liberation of self and an occasion to celebrate the existential condition of being ?other,? this study aims not only to shift the perception of exile away from the archetype of suffering, disorientation, and displacement, but also to explore the spiritual quest of the exilic literary experience of men, who long to re-establish their creative environment and build an aesthetic shelter in a new land. It investigates the change of social and narrative paradigms of exile through a global migration built on a personal exile, seen today as a good condition of personal literary mobility. This paper will focus, then, on the major instances of exilic being manifested in fictional and aesthetic forms of representation of exile in literature.

These seem to abuse it in order to solve the problems of translation in the context of exercises designed primarily for learning objectives. It is appropriate to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of these tools and corporas they invest according to didactic requirements and away from considerations done by professional translators. Application Context Reverso presents a relevant example to answer such a problem and put machine translation to the test of translation didactics.

It will give examples of texts dealt with during classes and exams, and the mistakes students usually make. It will also deal with the impact of French as the second language in Algeria, on the meaning rendering in English. The period will cover the academic years 2012 and 2013, and the study will concern junior and senior students in translation institute, University of Algiers 2. The presentation will deal with some principles of the nature of Arabic and English, originally different from each other in both culture and civilization. The paper will specifically answer the two following questions: To which extent is the current translation curriculum in the Algerian university efficient to teach and learn English? What are the criteria of a successful English teaching for students in translation?

Focus is on the role the synthesis of semiotics systems – verbal and nonverbal – plays. The study shows that the synergy of these systems, although often based on hyperbole, transforms such caricatures into a semiotic hypersystem of semiotic connotations, characterized by a degree of aggressiveness. Findings also indicate that Greek journalists, when translating, are generally based on the cultural knowledge shared between the two worlds.
